I am using this code:

PROC TABULATE DATA=Temp format= NLMNLGBP.;
   CLASS C1 / ascending;
   CLASS C2 / ascending;
   var M1;
   TABLE (C1='' all='Column Total'), (C2 all='Row Total') * M1='' * (sum='')  / box='Bla' MISSTEXT='';
RUN;

Unfortunately, the pound sign is not always shown. Can anyone see the reason?

Maybe the length of format is not long enough.

PROC TABULATE DATA=Temp format= NLMNLGBP32.;

OR

 (C2 all='Row Total') * M1='' * (sum='') *f=NLMNLGBP32.
