I was at a conference last week where someone claimed that Bland Altman tests had fallen out of favour, and that there better alternatives.
Any SAS procedures that might be more informative?
I have a database of serial blood pressures , and am comparing cuff pressures taken on different locations to a reference value taken from a radial arterial line, and a fingertip device.
These are taken preoperatively, and at 6 points intraoperatively. The surgical intervention and type of anaesthetic ventilation is expected yo make a difference to the pressures when compared to the pre-indiucton ones.
My specific question, is what are the alternatives to BA, and are there any pros / cons?
