What's new in SAS® Intelligent Advertising for Publishers - 11 October 2016

Here Is What's New for 11 October 2016

  • Added new security-related headers to UX HTTP responses to improve security and prevent XSS attacks.
  • User passwords can now be changed successfully if password complexity requirements are enabled.
  • The External ID field can now be included in BI reports.
  • Improved the way media assets and formats are uploaded so that there is a continuous availability of the file in question. Previously, it was possible for an updated file to be unavailable for up to a few seconds.
  • Rubicon placements can now be classified as web, mobile app, or video. This controls which fields are provided to Rubicon in bid requests.
  • Advertiser category names now must follow the same naming rules as tag values.
  • Proxy and VPN connections can now be geotargeted using the geo_proxy_type and geo_proxy_description tags. These connections are identified by IP address using definitions provided by Digital Element similar to existing geotargeting.
  • The Performance report can now be broken by area or day in XLSX and CSV outputs.
