We are so close to the start of SAS Global Forum in Denver (for the first time). Here are some fun facts about Denver that I learned while preparing for the conference:

(1) There’s a reason why Denver is nicknamed the Mile High City.

At an elevation of 5,280 feet, it’s precisely 1 mile above sea level.

(2) DID YOU KNOW DENVER IS ACTUALLY FLAT?
That’s because the city is not in the Rocky Mountains, but at the base of the mountain range. It is built on a high plane making it one of America’s flattest cities.

(3) NEED TO UP YOUR GOLF GAME?
Then tee off in Denver! Golf balls travel about 10 percent farther in higher altitudes.

(4) LOOKING FOR A UNIQUE BREW?
Chances are you’ll find it in Denver. That’s because Denver brews more beer than any other city in the US. More
than 200 different beers are brewed daily. BTW, you will be able to try some during the networking receptions.

(5) WANT MORE SUNSHINE?
You’ll catch more rays here than in San Diego or Miami! That’s because Denver averages 300 days of sunshine each year.
