Hi, i am fairly new to the Graphic Designer, but it looks like something which would save a lot of time. I luanch it by going to Tasks >> Graph >> Open ODS Graphic Designer, I have played with the pre-loaded data sets, I now want it to read my work datasets/libraries, this is where i am stuck.

Firstly I have seen a number of posts saying to use the %SGDESIGN(refresh = Y); call but this gives me the following error

ERROR: Write access to member SASUSER.LIBREFS.DATA is denied.

Furthermore simply running the %SGDESIGN; call I get the following errors

ERROR: Write access to member SASUSER.LIBREFS.DATA is denied.

ERROR: Java class generated an exception.

upon the first run i get the ERROR: Port is in use ...... error. But this only ever happens once.

I am creating my work data sets on a remote server if that helps. I am running SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1 also.

Thanks in advance!

Currently, the ODS Graphics Designer task in EG supports working with the WORK library only with a Local server. Working with the WORK library on a remote server is not currently supported.
