Hi!
I am struggling to find a solution for adding data labels to blocks produced by PROC GMAP procedure. After a bit of searching, it seems that I have to add them by coding separately for all labels (like drawing numbers, adding text box etc.).
Is there any simple way to add labels to the blocks? The blocks are produced for mean of a variable for different areas in the map.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Rupesh
I don't think there's a built-in way for gmap to label the 3d bars (blocks).
Also, I don't think the coordinate for the top of the 3d bar is available to programmatically annotate a label.
Therefore you would have to manually determine the x/y positions (by trial-and-error) to annotate the desired labels.
As an alternative, instead of labeling, I use the html= option to add mouse-over text (but that only works when your users are viewing the ods html output in a web browser).
