I am trying to put the value of the plot on a bar+line graph .

If I'm using the option POINTLABEL in my symbol , it has no affect on the graph .

However , I can add the markers  in the word Add-in so there must be  way to program it .

eg .

SYMBOL1

INTERPOL=JOIN

Pointlabel

HEIGHT= 10pt

FONT=MARKER

VALUE=SQUARE

CV=BLACK

LINE=1

WIDTH=2

.....

PROC GBARLINE DATA=&table;

BAR &variable /

SUMVAR=TotalFleetPCT

NOFRAME

OUTSIDE=PCT

TYPE=SUM

COUTLINE=SAME

RAXIS=AXIS1

MAXIS=AXIS2;

PLOT / SUMVAR= ...

TYPE=SUM

AXIS=AXIS3

LEGEND=LEGEND1;

RUN; QUIT;

Thanks for your help ,

Iris

Hi,

I would suggest to move to sgplot and graph template language, you can then overlay various types of graphs, and there is an option for labelling points with thier value.  Here is an example:

From the very good blog which has examples of pretty much every graph using the new graphing system.

The R&D team decided not to support pointlabels in Proc Gbarline.

The symbol statement pointlabel= option is silently ignored.
