Hi,
Does anyone know how to create a NJ zip map. I have the coordinates for one but its using data from 2002. I am looking for an updated one.
Thanks.
Are you looking for a ZIP Code map? If so, these are generally not free. You can use a ZCTA file from the Census. This approximates the ZIP Code but is not exactly it. The ZIP Code maps change every month. The Post Office is constantly changing them. Even if you buy a ZIP Code map, it will be somewhat out of date because the map will only updated every year or two.
Ok thanks for the information. Where can I find a census file?
Here is the main level of information:
https://www.census.gov/geo/reference/zctas.html
And the file is here (Look for ZIP Code Tabulation Areas):
And use PROC MAPIMPORT to read in the shapefile.
Hi, for some help, take a look at ...
