I'm trying to create an inset in my series of box plots and see that the inset statement does not work in sgpanel in SAS 9.3. Is there any kind of workaround for this? Thanks!

proc sgpanel data=want;
    format nseries nseries.;
    panelby nseries / novarname columns=4;
    vbox rate;
    inset     min_rate median_rate max_rate mean_rate    std_rate n_rate / position=bottom textattrs=(style=italic)
            title='Descriptive statistics';
    title1 'Box plot of rates across populations';
run;
title1;

Precalculate the values and use annotate.
