Generative AI is not just for static data collections. It can be trained to extract informative insights from the flood of streaming data from ubiquitous IoT sensors. Starting with the detection of domain-specific interesting patterns in IoT data, generative AI can create stories, reports, visualizations, and historical comparisons in context at the speed of data. Kirk Borne, Ph.D., presented his views on how harnessing the convergence of generative AI and IoT should ensure job security for years to come for any ready-for-IoT AI/ML practitioner.
