Microsoft Office has been around a long time, and it has changed significantly over time. The same is true for SAS and the add-ins we’ve provided for Microsoft Office. As the world changes around us, so must our add-in. It is time to introduce you to the latest version of Office integration, SAS for Microsoft 365, and show how it has evolved from the SAS®9 fan-favorite: SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office. This session will show what the new SAS add-in, which runs on the SAS® Viya® 4 platform, can do in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. The add-in helps you access your SAS reports, data and programs within Microsoft Office, and seamlessly integrates these reports, data and programs into Office documents. However, the technology has changed from a desktop add-in to the cloud using the SAS Viya 4 platform. This session will explore where we came from, where we are now, and where we’re heading with our integration for Microsoft Office.
