We're almost there.....
This session provided an overview of the new SAS® developer portal, developer.sas.com. SAS recognizes the importance of integration with open source technologies and is investing in a world-class developer portal that will help developers work with SAS in new and exciting ways. The updated portal focuses on SAS APIs and use cases. It also provides resources for open source integration with SAS, SAS® Viya® programming, SDKs and other SAS solutions – all focused on the developer's perspective. The session began with an overview of what a developer portal is and what components make up a good portal. We discussed the intended personas for the site and affirm the various audiences who will use the resource. We walked through the site and demonstrate many of the components and functionality discussed earlier. We wrapped up the session with a talk about the site's future as we continue to develop and expand. The new developer portal is a highly anticipated resource, and we can't wait to show it off.
