THESE DATASETS WILL KEEP CHANGIN DATE DATE SO TOMORROW WE WILL HAVE

so i want to use like this;

data test;

set anylibrary.sales_&sysdate;

run;

set anylibrary.sales_%sysfunc(today(), yymmddn8.);

AND/OR

set anylibrary.sales_%sysfunc(today(), date9);

I suggest you stick with the yyyymmdd style as your datasets will then naturally sort in date order either in SAS or Windows Explorer.

Also if you wish to use this on many datasets consider defining as a macro variable. If it is yesterday you want then try this:

%let Yesterday = %sysfunc(intnx(DAY,%sysfunc(today()), -1), yymmddn8.);

data example;

  set anylibrary.sales_&Yesterday.;

run;
