moving graphs/.png files from EG to local computer without SAS installed locally

I am using EG to connect to a remote server. I am running code in a program to generate a graph.  The graph (.png file) is written to my Project folder on the remote server under Files in the Server List. I am trying to copy/export the .png file to my local computer. I do not have SAS installed locally so my local computer does not show up on the server list. Does anyone know how I can move the graph files (.png) to my local computer using EG? Thanks. Code I am using is:

ods listing gpath='/mnt/Projects/amin-sid';

ods graphics on;

proc sgplot data=HospLevelData2 noautolegend;

scatter x=totcost_mean y=los_mean;

xaxis label='Mean total cost';

symbol1 value=dot h=1;

title 'Mean LOS vs. cost, hospital-level';

run;

ods graphics off;

Re: moving graphs/.png files from EG to local computer without SAS installed locally

Your program indicates that your remote SAS server is Unix. That makes it harder to copy files to your PC but not impossible. EG contains a task for copying SAS data but this doesn't include external files like PNGs.

Using FTP is one possible option as both Unix and Windows have this capability. You would need the ability to be able to logon remotely to the Unix server to use this though and you would have to do this from a Windows command line or by using one of the many freely-available FTP apps.

Another option would be to allow the server folder to be mapped from the Windows environment. This requires your Unix admin to set it up, assuming that they agree to it.
