PROC SETINIT will tell you what software you have licensed.
The best way to determine what is available on a Windows machine is to run filedetvX (x is 8 or 9), see http://support.sas.com/kb/7/640.html
You can run that from within EG if you are setup to have access to the "X" command (that won't work for SAS on a remote server).
- go to View->Server List
- connect to your server (expand it to see Libraries, for example)
- Right-click on the server in the list and select Properties.
- On the Software tab, select View SAS Server Products.
This will show you what products are licensed and installed. It's not comprehensive -- it shows mostly just those products that have relevance to an EG user.
Thanks! Now can you tell me how I can actually view the data in the libraries that I seem to have available to me? I think it might be a permissions thing, but I'm not sure who is our SAS administrator type person who would set permissions or such
