Hello frineds,

 

wants to use FILENAME url statement to access online data but have completely internet blocked sas grid 9.4 environment - is there any workaroud? also if wants to enable url what configuration changes needed? Thanks!

no access to outside world from server...how/configuration - I don't know

Since SAS uses the standard internet stack, there's no way you can access anything on the internet if that's blocked.

Talk to your network people to open access to the internet.

any link/document how it works? or configured? algorithm? Also, isn't it once we open internet for sas it opens for everything else as well?

As long as only outbound connections are allowed, you should be fine. And which internet sites are available can usually be defined on the firewalls.

Once again, talk to your network people. They know how the infrastructure is set up.
