Why some “Running Man” icons have an “Exclamation mark” while some do not?

Hi EG Community,

When I open my EG, I get “Project Tree” box in the left top corner of the screen.

In this box, under “Programs”, the names of my SAS “programs” are displayed.

Each program name is preceded by a “Running man” icon.

Some of these icons have “Exclamation mark”, while some doesn’t have.

Could anyone please let me know if there is a specific reason for having  “Exclamation mark” in some “Running man” icons, and not having it in some other icons.

Thanks

Mirisage

Re: Why some “Running Man” icons have an “Exclamation mark” while some do not?

take a look at: http://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings11/166-2011.pdf

specifically, the paragraph:

VIEWING LOGS AND RESULTS

In the above window, notice that the only symbol attached to the code node is the shortcut symbol. However, if your

program resulted in an error or warning, you would see an additional symbol such as an exclamation point. When you

rest your mouse over the code node, in addition to providing basic information about your program, you may also be

informed to check for warnings or errors.
