Hi,

I am trying to create a template in which I will be creating 2-3 data sets. some of the fields in the data set are set in such a way that user can enter the values.I want a validation to check if user enters only numeric or null values.

The character values are not allowed.

can any one suggest me a way to achieve that.

Thanks in advance,

" user can enter the values", if you are talking about Prompts, then yes, you can set it to accept "Numeric" value only. More details will be needed.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.

user would be opening the data set and entering the values. I believe that defining them as numeric would solve this problem
