Hi all,

Hoping somebody may have come across this before.  Does anyone know of a way to change the directory which the Open and Save/SaveAs defaults to? i.e. altering it from opening at Desktop level, to something else.

I can adjust this in Base/DMS SAS, setting the SASINITIALFOLDER system option, within the main sasv9.cfg file.  But I am hitting a wall when it comes to EG.  I know EG is a completely different animal to Base SAS, so it just may not be possible.

I have come across the EGOptions.xml file, which suggests to me that the options within that are the only ones which can be reconfigured, when it comes to EG.

Thanks for the help.

David

You are indeed correct, I have performed a test and the results are as you described, works the first time you open EG, and then changes back once you have opened/saved.

Thanks for ending this wild goose chase.
