We have issues in one user for whom SAS EG send to Excel stopped working one day.
SAS EG 7.15 64 bit and Office 365 64 bit. Windows 10.
SAS EG and Office 365 were both reinstalled hoping that it would resolve the issue.
No changes at the OS level.
Wondering if any body had this issue ? Appreciate if they share their experience.
Any suggestions ?
I'd suggest upgrading to EG 8. This type of problem is best solved with Tech Support as you've already tried the obvious reinstall. Since it is only one user impacted, I can only assume it is a PC-specific problem. Swapping the PC is another obvious solution if you want to minimise spending any more time on this.
Don't bother with "Send to" in the first place. It's unreliable (as you just experienced) and inefficient.
Use PROC EXPORT or ODS EXCEL, and fetch the resulting file to your PC with the Copy Files task.
