I have a question about SAS/EG:

Can I have the SAS/EG metadata in a Unix server??

I would like to work from win clients that connect to a SAS Server in Unix, that SAS Server content the metadata (projects definitions, libraries, etc..).

Is tha possible??

I'm not sure about all metadata, but the .egp (Enterprise Guide Project) file is a Windows file.  You could, I suppose, store it on a Unix file system using something like samba to map the PC drive to it, but it would still be a Windows file.  We do that sometimes as a way to keep all the files for a particular project together, but it is a bit of a kluge.
