When I update my password in SAS EG8.3 all of the programs close.  Is there a way to change this behaviour.

When you change something about your SAS metadata environment connection (which environment you connect to, or any of the host or credentials), EG wants to close all open documents because the context of those documents may have changed.

Best practice would be to save/close all work before making a change to your SAS environment connection. I don't know of any way to make EG behave differently on this.

@ChrisHemedinger  is there a chance that the engineering team can revisit this. At the very least for a password change.  This behaviour is really disruptive from a work perspective.
