Hi,

I'm newbie to SAS...I have to import excel file,do formatting and export it to CSV file.

I'm modifying output format, for example instead of datetime to date etc..comaa. to
w.d etc

After modifying i'm trying to export results to CSV file...i'm getting quotations for all the coloums....but i want quotations for only string colums having space value.

How can i control this using EG.

Thanks,
Reddy

Hello Reddy19,

You wrote: "I'm modifying output format, for example instead of datetime to date etc..comaa. to w.d etc".

To change from datetime to date you need a function DATEPART, changing format it is not enough.

Please give an example of you data and desired output.

Sincerely,
SPR
