How do I obtain the root mse when running the glimmix procedure?

I assume there is code that I need to add?

Any help in this matter is very much appreciated.

Anyone know how to get rmse?

As far as I know, GLIMMIX does not calculate this for you.

You could use an output data set containing the residuals and actual values to obtain RMSE. Then calculate it yourself from the residuals and actual values, and there would have to be some adjustment for the degrees of freedom in the model.

Sorry to bother you with this question.

How do you run glimmix in EG 6.1? I use EG because it is menu driven, but I have not been able to find out how to run glimmix. I know how to run proc mixed, but not glimmix.

Perhaps you should start a new thread with this question, as it is completely unrelated to the title.

I agree with Paige, but very quickly...

If you select View | Task List, you'll see all of the tasks in EG. On the top selection bar, pick "Tasks by Name", and then click on the "SAS Procedures" heading. This will show you all of the EG tasks, ordered by which PROC they use. Unfortunately, no GLIMMIX in EG 6.1.
