Hi,

How can I backup the setting in metadata server, infomation map and web report studio? as I want to take a snapshot backup before making any changes and fallback if needed.

Hi:
Backing up the metadata server is generally considered to be an administrative task and is described in the documentation, as listed at this site:
http://support.sas.com/documentation/configuration/913admintask.html
You should consult with your SAS Administrator to determine whether they have already set up jobs to automatically do backups on a routine basis. Since the servers should be paused or stopped before you do backups, you also need to make sure that you have sufficient authority to perform these kinds of tasks.
