In our Citrix environment, we sometimes activate logging to diagnose problems as per Usage Note 1730 (http://support.sas.com/kb/17/730.html)

The default location for the log files (EG 4.2) is %appdata%\SAS\EnterpriseGuide\4.2.

The default location - being part of the users "home" folder - means that logging on / off the application servers takes forever as the logs increase - in some cases several gigabytes of log files are copied between the file servers and applications servers at log-on / log-off.

What changes are required to have the log files saved to a different folder?

Thanks
Fred

And here's the answer from the helpdesk, using the "Log4net" Apache dll, you can modify the File parameter in the logging.config file;
