Hello,

I just swiched from PC SAS to SAS EG 7.1.

I tried to run code step by step, however EG run the whole program instead of  highlighted part of program.

I am wondering the solution of this.

Thank you very much,
Ivy

If you highlight a section of code and hit F3, it doesn't run just the selected segment? Or right click and say "run selection"?

As @collinelliot says, highlight and F3 should do it.  Note that you have to run complete steps (procs or DATA step or macro/global statements).  You can't run partial steps within EG.

If you're looking to debug a DATA step (run one line at a time and inspect results), check out the DATA step debugger.
