Hi Folks,

 

back in the 7.x versions of EG I could select two *.sas programs in EITHER the Project Tree or Process Flow of Enterprise Guide and right click and click "compare".

Then Winmerge would do the code comparing (see:  https://blogs.sas.com/content/sasdummy/2015/04/03/compare-sas-programs-in-sas-enterprise-guide/ )

 

In SAS Enterprise Guide 8.2 Update 1 (8.2.1.1223) (64-bit), which I am using now, I can only do the comparisson, when navigating to the Process Flow. In the Project Tree context menu, when right clicking, I do not get the "compare" option.

Do I have to adjust some option in order to get the option, or has it just "moved" to the Process Flow?

These are the options I am being shown, when slecting two programs in the Project Tree:

This was a bug found in Eguide 8.2 and is fixed with the next hotfix (Update2), scheduled to be released this week.
