Batch Mode couldn't generate txt file

Hello everyone,

I have issue about batch mode.

Both PDB file and dba_recort42.txt and dba_recort1415.txt files are formed when i run SCRIPT.SAS  manually. However  dba_recort42.txt and dba_recort1415.txt aren’t formed when SCRIPT.SAS is run in BATCH MODE.The SCRIPT.SAS is below the line.

The sas data set where selection looks to be nested wrong.

The added(?)  and   dsname

ERROR 180-322: Statement is not valid or it is used out of proper order.

Is not conform the dataset option syntax SAS(R) 9.2 Language Reference: Dictionary, Fourth Edition
and/or not conform the proc sql syntax  Base SAS(R) 9.2 Procedures Guide     At least this is where the error position is occurring,
I do not see that error, maybe just a couple of paranthesis to add.

What is that partial statement between your %INCLUDE and your PROC SQL statement?  SInce it does not have a semi-colon I am assuming that the PROC SQL line does not execute.

Didn't you get error messages in the SAS log?

"_old-style-macro-name" is the macro naming convention used by Barry Merrill in his MXG software.

Yes, there are some error messages on my log file.I didn't understand exactly which line did i forget the semi-colon ? The log file is  too long. I have to attach the file but i couldn't find attach button. How can i show my log file to you ?

End; is not a PROC SQL statement.  Fix that and try again. 

You probably want QUIT;  I often type END when I mean RUN which doesn't usually produce desirable results.

Lots of sets with 0 records noted. Since this is buried in a macro I would suggest modifying the macro to conditionally write either a custom error message to the log or a file (or both).

What does your log say? Anything about pdb.smf1415out or pdb.smf42out having zero records selected?

Does the log indicate the files were created?

and/or not conform the proc sql syntax  Base SAS(R) 9.2 Procedures Guide     At least this is where the error position is occurring,
I do not see that error, maybe just a couple of paranthesis to add.
