Hello:

In a recent project, we want to do some social media analysis, preferably in SAS. There is a "SAS social media analytics" but it is a customized, on-demand service rather than a piece of software you can run directly. That is how I get confused. Does anyone know what components it usually has? Are these components coming from different SAS packages? The university has a free license for enterprise miner but I suppose it doesn't have anything we need for social media analysis (sentiment analysis, visualization etc.)?

More importantly, is there an academic license for this? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Peter

Hi Peter,

There's not an academic license for SAS Social Media Analytics, but here are some resources that give details on academic and other offerings for reference.
