Hi, all

I have a project copied from my colleague, when I was trying to open it on my laptop, it says cannot open project and the physical location for this project may have been deleted. Could anyone kindly give any solution? Thanks in advance!

Try this:

If you want to open an Enterprise Miner project that exists on the workspace server file system, but has not been registered in SAS metadata, do the following:

Use your Enterprise Miner menu File > New >Project... to launch the Create a New Project wizard. When the wizard prompts you for the new project name and project directory, carefully submit the project directory and project name for the project that exists on the workspace server file system (but is not registered in SAS metadata.) Enterprise Miner will notify you that the project files already exist, and prompt you whether you want to continue with the project creation. If you continue with the project creation, all of the information associated with the existing project is preserved.

Wendy,

Thanks for replying. I tried your suggestion. Now I can open the project. But I cannot open any content, neither "data source" nor "diagram". Any idea? Thanks.

Hi Peiyu,

The only one time that I got a similar behavior was when I imported a project from a really old version of EM to a much newer one. But I don't think this is your case.

Please submit a tech support form using this link and they will help you figure out what is going on.

Thanks,

Miguel
