Helo all;

After runing the Ratemaking node of SAS MINER one of the resalts is Parameters Estimates, it give us the parameters for each input variable in our model. I know that to calculate the rate for a tarif cel we must calculate the exponential of the sum of the parameters in the cel, but whenever i do that my values are not the same to the predicted values given by the score node.

Please someone help me undertand it.

Hi,

Yes: first you calculate the weighted sum, and then exponentiate it... or you do something else. This depends on the model that you are using.

What are your settings for the model?

Could you give us an example of your parameter estimates and one line of data?

Thx,

Greg
