Looking for a Senior SAS Engineer position in Arlington, VA with a clearance!

We are searching for a Senior SAS Engineer to support a Department of Defense program in Crystal City, VA.

The Senior SAS® Engineer must meet one of the following degree-plus-experience criteria:

  • Have experience working with and analyzing large (millions of records) datasets, applying mathematical and statistical analysis techniques to real-world data, and programming in Base SAS®.
  • Possess an ability to create complex programs in SAS® that require multiple steps ingesting, parsing, transforming, and analyzing data.
  • a minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • Current Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI

The Senior SAS Engineer will support operational Requests for Support (RFSs), which may include but is not limited to:

  • Providing support for Blue Force Tracking (BFT) data extraction and analysis;
  • Facilitating and updating ESRI/ArcGIS shape files for effective BFT mapping;
  • Facilitating sessions to establish metrics; assisting decision makers in risk assessments, prioritization, and weight elicitation;
  • Maintaining the metrics dashboard and data extraction to support assessments, providing modifications, updates, new metrics, and optimizations to the dashboard as directed;
  • Facilitating sessions to elicit guidance, subjective criteria on ordering, weighting, and metrics;
  • Providing leadership with quantitative organizational assessments to support functional evaluations.
  • Provide analytical support to the ORSA Division, multi-intelligence teams, social analytical teams, and special operations analytical teams, which may include providing large-scale advanced analytics support to CLTs, automatically collecting, parsing, data basing, and integrating relevant data in support of projects and study efforts, providing unstructured text processing and analysis, and/or using network analysis methodologies to support the mission.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:     Minimum of a Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI
