The Nueral Network node in my project takes a long time to finish running. Is there any way to speed up?

Do not expect of the classic answer: "buy new hardware" . Moore's law - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia is not applicable to clock rates. The frequency is since 2001 when it reached 3Ghz not really increased anymore. The gains must come from parallelism (grid multithreading) smarter programs and smarter people. Smarter programs is waiting for SAS institute to do that.
As a neural network is highly iterative with a lot of assumptions I would look at the part a smarter usage of all those options.

An oldie (2005-2007): http://download.intel.com/corporate/education/emea/event/af12/files/cownie.pdf very nice presentation.

Aha123, have you taken a look at EM 12.3 or even EM 13.1?  There is a new High-Performance Neural network node that is automatically multithreaded across the processors on yopur local SAS machine.  That should make a difference.  Otherwise, let us know what settings you are using.

Thanks,

Jonathan
