Hi All,

I would like to create only 4 group for each variable in Interactive binning? Where do I specify?

There is a number of groups options (Under Interval variable), this is set to 4, but when I look at the bins, some of them will exceed 4? How can I force it to the number of groups I want?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I haven't used the interactive binning node for a while.

But to get 4 optimally binned groups, the Transform node is the way to go.

Add a Transform group node and specify Default Method for your inputs as Optimal Binning. Run! (the groups is 4 by default).

A much better alternative is Interactive Grouping node if you have licensed Credit Scoring for SAS Enterprise Miner.

Good luck,

Miguel
