Hello,
I have several SAS Libraries in SAS Management Console 9.4. But only some of them show up in SAS DI Studio 4.9. Should I create a brand new library? I am afraid that it may overwrite an existing library.
Please advise.
Thanks,
saspert.
Do the ODBC libraries appear in the EG server window?
Try also testing the library in a program: proc contents data = library._all_; run;
Hi saskiwi,
I can see the sas libraries in SAS EG. In fact they are more or less in sync with SAS MC 9.4 list of libraries. I ran the code without any errors in SASEG. proc contents data=abmlib._all_; run;
Thanks,
saspert
ERROR: Libref CPMLIB is not assigned
is the error I get if I try to run it in SAS DI studio 4.9
@LinusH - Actually I did mean EG just to confirm the libnames did work outside of DI Studio.
@saspert - I suggest you compare an ODBC library definition that works in DI Studio versus one that doesn't work. What is different? One area to check is the metadata folder the definitions are stored in - are they the same or not? Different metadata permissions might cause this problem.
