I'm trying to use SAS Deployment Manager to configure the Hadoop Jars to my SAS Cluster.

During to process I need to insert the Host Name of my Hadoop Cluster Manager. When I go to my Hadoop Machine and put in terminal "hostname -f" it gives me my fqdn. But when I introduce it into the field from SAS Deployment Manager, it gives an error saying that host isn't valid.

Anyone knows where I can get the "valid" host for complete this task?

Hello,

I would suggest to add the IP and hostname in the hosts file, then try a ping on this name in order te verify the client can access it.

Regards
