We are experiencing frequent (2-3 times a day) instances where users are suddenly unable to save SAS DI jobs that have been checked out. So far we have been unable to identify a string of circumstances that cause the issue.
Closing SAS DI, and reopening seems to allow saving just fine, but of course everything is lose from when the save occurred. I looked around and saw this was a problem back in 4.2, but was fixed in 4.21, and we are now running 4.7.
Has anyone else had this issue? If so, is there any way to fix it?
thanks,
-Cliff
I assume you refer to this feature: http://support.sas.com/kb/41/571.html
You could try if the workaround also works for DIS 4.7
I suggest you contact SAS TechSupport so that this gets reported for DIS 4.7 and/or that you get a solution appropriate for your DIS version.
Patrick,
Thank you for the response, I have started a help ticket and will respond once there is a resolution. Unfortunately that link does not seem to be the issue, though as yet we are unsure what actually is the problem.
