If you’re like me and just returned from SAS Global Forum 2018, you may be going through a bit of withdrawal from all the SAS knowledge and conversation consumed during the few days. If you couldn’t attend, perhaps you checked out the SAS Visual Data Prep demo by @nar_sas, or the breakout session, Data Management Meets Machine Learning, by @gregorysnelson.
Personally, I was learning about things like the IoT Zone in the Quad (aka demo floor) and Software Accessibility at SAS. After all that activity, I’m now reflecting on what a great event it was … while catching up on “stuff I missed” while I was in Denver.
There’s a chance to digitally mimic this exchange of SAS information during the next SAS Data Management Community Jam on April 24, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. ET. The Jam is a virtual event where you can get near real-time answers to your burning SAS Data Management questions. Allow me to explain.
A group of SAS experts will by standing by to answer questions (kind of like a conversation you may have at the booth at SAS Global Forum!), and address existing community topics that could use some attention. Here’s a recap of the last Jam session to give you an idea of what gets accomplished during the hour.
So how can you participate? During the hour, ask your questions by pressing the blue “New Message” button on the community and we’ll get back to you with answers. If you prefer to watch the action, like many of your fellow members, that’s cool too. You’ll likely see a ton of activity throughout that hour that might make for some light reading.
At any rate, I’m looking forward to getting another “event buzz” on April 24! Hope you’ll plan to join.
