I need abort a job if the source table of this job is empty or does not exist.
Does anyone know how I can do this in DI Studio 4.6 within a job?
Just want to add, status handling is performed on the result of a transformation, not on a source table as such. Probably you can use it anyway when designing your exceptions, just bare this in mind.
An exception is if your table you want to check is a look-up table in the Look-up transform, this transformation can explicitly check the status of the source table.
The topic in the 4.6 user guide describes a general approach: SAS(R) Data Integration Studio 4.6: User's Guide
I think you would specify the "Table Does not Exist" condition: SAS(R) Data Integration Studio 4.6: User's Guide

I solved the problem by using the lookup Exception.
Thank you very much.
