Here's What's New in the March Release of CI360

The March 21 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 will have the following changes and enhancements:

SAS 360 Engage New Features and Enhancements

The following features and enhancements are in SAS 360 Engage.

Assets

Adding Tags to Assets during Batch Upload

Now when you batch upload assets, you can add tags to assets as part of the process. You can specify unique tags for each asset or apply common tags to a selected group of assets at one time.

Viewing Assets for the Selected Folders

Within assets folders, there are two options for viewing assets:

  • view assets for the selected folder only
  • view assets for the selected folder and subfolders

The Configure Views setting is now persistent across sessions. If you log off SAS Customer Intelligence 360, the setting still applies when you log on again. In addition, you can change the setting.

Data Hub

Editing and Reuploading Metadata in a Descriptor

Instead of creating a new descriptor when you want to change items such as labels or descriptions in the descriptor, you can now edit and reupload certain pieces of the metadata. After the descriptor is uploaded, the metadata changes are seen throughout SAS Customer Intelligence 360. In addition to labels and descriptions, you can edit properties such as tags, keys, and delimiters.

Messages

New External Code Field for Creating Export Files

A new attribute field called External Code has been added to the standard properties in messages. This field is useful in the creation of export files that are associated with direct marketing tasks.

Mobile

New Classification of Metric Events as Contacts and Responses

Events that are selected as primary or secondary metrics can be classified as contacts and responses. When an event that is classified as a contact occurs, the contact is the customer’s receipt of a creative. When an event that is classified as a response occurs, the response is the customer’s reaction to a creative such as accepting an offer. The tracking of these events is for future integration, reporting, and targeting capabilities.

Planner (Operations)

Enhanced Calendar Gantt View

Now when you select the Calendar view from the Operations (or Planning Items) list, you can display a Gantt view. Within the Gantt view, you can choose from monthly, quarterly, and yearly display options. You can navigate to different months, quarters, or years using the previous and next arrows. As with standard calendar views, you can view additional information for an item within the Gantt view by positioning your mouse pointer over a calendar item. You can also navigate directly to a planner item (such as a plan, program, campaign, or task) by clicking the bar that is displayed in the Gantt view. You also have the same search and filter capabilities that are available in the list view and other calendar views.

Renaming Planning Objects from the Operations Table View

You can now change the name of planning objects from the Operations table view. Select the planning object, and then click Rename.

View Dates of Workflow Tasks Prior to Activation

It is important for a workflow manager to view the dates for all workflow tasks and the projected end date before starting a workflow. Now you can view the start date and due date for every workflow task contributor as well as the projected end date prior to activation. As you make changes to the duration for each contributor, all dates are updated based on the new duration.

View Details from the Rolled-up Budget Tab

Using the Rolled-up Budget tab, you can see the list of children and their planned budgets from the Financials page of a planning object. The total planned budget for the rolled-up planning object is displayed in the Budgets Overview section of the Financials page.
