Exciting Updates to Customer Intelligence 360 Digital Campaign Task Design  

 

Announcing our streamlined campaign task design experience for Email, Mobile Push Notification, and Advertising tasks, along with the introduction of a brand-new SMS Marketing task

At  SAS, we’re always working to make your campaign design experience easier, faster, and more intuitive. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce our first wave of updates intended to simplify the way you create and manage your digital campaigns. Whether you’re designing for email, mobile, or match-based advertising channels, our latest updates will help your marketing team and designers build impactful promotions with greater ease and flexibility. Get ready to discover our redesigned Customer Intelligence 360 (CI360) task design experiences and our brand-new SMS campaign creation tool. 

 

The Vision for 2025 

 

Our Customer Intelligence 360 (CI360) product team has been focused on empowering marketers to drive better outcomes through data, intelligence, and agility. As such, for 2025, we have focused on three (3) key areas of improvement: 

 

  • User experience – including introduction of new journeys, campaign task design 
  • Composability and flexibility – including enhancements to audiences and segments 
  • Generative AI agents – including our upcoming Copilot for various parts of CI360 

This article will focus on our new streamlined user experience for digital marketers as well as our new SMS messaging campaign task type. 

 

A Fresh, More Visual Campaign Task Design Interface 

 

With an improved interface that emphasizes simplicity and speed, users can now create campaign tasks for email, mobile push notifications, SMS, and match-based advertising channels. Configure your campaign using a more natural flow of actions, with a visual progress indicator and review button that guides you during the design process. The new layout will provide a snapshot of your overall campaign that emphasizes the most important details of your task. For instance, you can easily see settings for send options, targeting criteria, metrics, and properties while enabling easy access to dive deeper into each section. 

 

A More Modern Email Design Interface 

 

Designing engaging marketing emails just got easier. Our new task design interface for email creation brings a modern experience to your fingertips. This includes enhanced layout controls, drag ‘n’ drop functions, and an immediate preview of your HTML email content. With this new update, designers can improve collaboration between creative teams and campaign managers. These changes not only make email creation faster but also help maintain consistency across all communications.

A Streamlined Mobile Push Notification Design Experience 

 

We know how important it is to reach your audience where they are—on their mobile devices. Our new task design experience for mobile push notifications is built to make that process seamless. With an improved interface, users can now craft and preview push notifications in a more visual and responsive way. Key features include in-line editing of your creatives, a new review process, and real-time previews for both Android and iOS. This update reduces the time it takes to launch a mobile campaign and ensures your notifications always look sharp and perform well, regardless of device.

A New Advertising Interface 

 

To further support omnichannel campaign execution, we’re introducing a new design interface for customer match-based advertising tasks. This powerful feature allows marketers to securely upload first-party customer data and connect it directly to leading advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Snapchat Ads. With a clean, guided workflow, users can segment audiences, map data fields, and deploy match-based ads with confidence. This update provides a new interface from audience data management to advertising platform updates, helping you reach high-value customers with tailored messages across the digital ad landscape.

Introducing Our All-New SMS Campaign Task Type 

 

We’re also excited to unveil our brand-new SMS marketing campaign creation tool.  

 

The new SMS task is designed to maximize customer reach on mobile devices. SMS provides timely marketing content that encourages engagement with customers on the go. Complementing your other mobile marketing tactics, including SMS in your marketing mix, will result in improved response rates and higher ROI on customer data. 

 

Built from the ground up, this feature offers a dedicated task workspace tailored specifically for SMS. Marketers can create, personalize, and schedule text messages with ease, taking advantage of advanced segmentation and audience management options. The interface supports previewing messages across Android and iOS-based devices, ensuring your content looks right before it reaches your customers. With performance tracking built in, you’ll have insights into click-throughs and engagement metrics, empowering you to fine-tune your mobile strategy and maximize ROI.
