The 18.05 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 updates email tasks and activities to expand your ability to design and target the email messages that you send to your customers. An email task contains all the information that you need to deliver content to a target audience through email. An activity is a coordinated series of tasks that are designed to meet the goals of a marketing campaign.

You have more control over the look of the email messages that you generate, including the ability to add white space or adjust column widths to enhance your layout. Also, using activities, you can specify different paths for email recipients.

Align content with white space

Insert white spaces around text, images, creatives, and buttons in your email, or even within the content of a multiple column block. This means you can place text, images, creatives, and buttons side by side and effectively align the content to achieve your desired look and feel.

Set column widths

You can specify the width of each column in two-column email messages. Use the slider in the Layout Manager to adjust the width of each column and specify percentage ratios of the two columns. You must set the column widths before adding content.

Split paths after email tasks in activity maps

In an activity map, you can now add a split node after an email task. Split nodes enable you to create different paths in the activity map based on the primary and secondary metrics of the email task. For example, a user who clicks on a link in the email can be sent down a different path in the activity map than a user who does not click on a link.

Hi There,

Does this solution actually send the emails?  Or do we need an email tool as well?
