What's new in DataOps

Each month we round up what's new in the five pillars of DataOps: collaboration, orchestration, continuous delivery, testing automation and environmental management.

Highlights this month include:

  • Collaboration improvements in SAS Studio
  • Soft launch of the new developer portal
  • A round up of resources from DataOpsWeek

Resources

SAS Studio

  • Allow SAS Studio Flows to include Subflows from the file system (What's New in SAS StudioAbout Subflows). Why is this useful? More objects on the file system allows better integration with Git; better Git integration means better collaboration.

REST API

SAS Viya CLI & Plug-ins

SAS Studio Custom Steps

  • GEO - Shape Files: Manage Shape Files used in GIS systems for use in SAS Visual Analytics (Stephano Tucciarone)
  • LLM - Prompt Catalog: Submit queries to a Large Language Model, test prompts (prompt engineering) and save prompt history (Xin Ru Lee)

SAS Extension for Visual Studio Code
