There are a few new features coming to Intelligent Decisioning in the new version of SAS Viya (2020.1 and beyond). An interesting one is the ability to compare different scenarios. Scenario analysis has wide applications in fields from finance to politics to energy and beyond. Let's take an early look at this new functionality and see what it has to offer. . . . . .
Once your Decision or Rule Set is configured , go to the Scoring tab and select the new Scenarios sub-tab. Setup your scenarios just like tests but specify only input values, no input tables. Once your scenarios are complete and run, compare them as shown below with the Compare -> Results pick.

Mobile users: To view the images, select the "Full" version at the bottom of the page.
The Compare Results screen is shown below. It displays the scenario inputs and outputs side-by-side for easy comparison.
..
For those looking to go beyond the OOTB comparison visualization, the output scenario data sets are easily located in the user's CASUSER caslib for use in Visual Analytics or elsewhere.
