As part of a larger SAS initiative to focus market attention on the most comprehensive sets of advanced data and analytics capabilities that SAS delivers, customers will see new offering names on the SAS Viya platform. These name changes will not alter the composition of the offerings and customers can expect uninterrupted access to licensed assets.
Starting in January 2023, the names of the following SAS offerings will change:
- SAS® Visual Machine Learning will become SAS® Viya®
- SAS® Visual Data Science will become SAS® Viya® Advanced
- SAS® Data Science Programming will become SAS® Viya® Programming
- SAS® Visual Data Science Decisioning will become SAS® Viya® Enterprise
These new product names will be rolled out in the coming weeks across the SAS website, technical documentation, training materials, SAS Cloud, and various software order fulfillment and download sites.
