If the virtual machine process for SAS Data Loader for Hadoop (Trial Edition) is stopped abnormally (through an action other than a normal Shut Down or Power Off), you might encounter an error when you try to start it again. For example, you might receive the error

HTTP Status 404 - /SASDataLoader, Description: The requested resource is not available.

If this situation occurs, follow these steps:

On Macintosh (VMware Fusion):

    1. Select Virtual Machine -> Shut Down.  In the second dialog box, select Shut Down as well.
    2. Select Virtual Machine -> Start Up to restart the virtual machine.

On Windows systems (VMware Player or VMware Workstation):

    1. Select Shut Down Guest. At the prompt Are you sure you want to power off the virtual machine and exit?, select Yes.
    2. Restart VMware Player or VMware Workstation, and play the SAS Data Loader for Hadoop virtual machine.
