SAS Certification is looking for 5-8 qualified subject matter experts (SMEs) to assist with writing exam questions for the SAS Visual Analytics 7.3 Deployment Specialist exam.

SAS Certification Exam Development Project: SAS Visual Analytics 7.3 Deployment Specialist

Exam Project: Writing, Reviewing, and Scoring Test Questions for SAS Visual Analytics 7.3 Deployment Specialist (exam A00-359)

SAS Product: SAS Visual Analytics 7.3

Job Role / Required Skills: Architecting, planning the deployment, deploying, performing post deployment tasks and troubleshooting SAS Visual Analytics 7.3 deployments in a SAS 9.4 environment. NOTE: This is not a training class. Participants must possess these skills/knowledge at this SAS product version but do not have to be certified.

Location: All work will be done via conference calls and through on-line tools. Global participation is encouraged.

Details:

1. Write 80 new test questions to create a practice test AND to refresh existing A00-359 item bank.
2. Technically review and score the new test questions.

Workshops, Dates and Times:

Item (Question) Writing:

Tuesday, May 10 @ 8:30am-10:00am CST

1.5 hour conference call: project review, item writing training, and item assignments.

May 11-May 29

SMEs work on their own and collaborate as needed while writing items. 1-2 “touch base” conference calls may be scheduled (15-30 minutes each).

Technical Review & Scoring*:

Tuesday, May 31 @ 8:00am-11:00am CST

3 hour conference call: Review items for technical accuracy and score for level of difficulty.

Wednesday, June 1 @ 8:00am-11:00am CST

3 hour conference call: Review items for technical accuracy and score for level of difficulty.

Friday, June 3 @ 8:00am-11:00am CST

3 hour conference call: Review items for technical accuracy and score for level of difficulty.

*SMEs are strongly encouraged to participate in all the calls; accommodations will be made if participants need to step away for special circumstances.
