Dear All,

Currently we are bidding for a project that entails SAS Event Stream Processing, however there are certain host system for which there are no connectors available, for example one of the application is "SWIFT".

Given that this would be our first brush with SAS ESP,  we are a bit edgy on the way forward.

Hence would be great if we can have some guidance in terms of the best practices / approach

- for building the ESP connector or adapter ,

- as well as on an ESP implementation

thanks in advance

Ronny

@Ronny_Dsouza,The SAS Events Stream Processing Users Guide provides documentation on API development for developing Connectors/Adaptors when one is not readily available. Please check out the section on "Writing and Integrating Custom Connectors". In that section, the API is documented to develop your own connector. Alternatively, based on market needs, SAS works with clients to collaboratively develop these connectors.

Dear Spar_Steve,

My bad for not mentioning that we do have the user guide of ESP and have seen the section that has been mentioned,  as explained the edginess is to know

if that information given is sufficent enough to develop the custom connector,

if yes, then we are all good.

Also is there any best practices paper,  tried searching but limited information unlike other products.

Whether you're already using SAS Event Stream Processing or thinking about it, this is where you can connect with your peers, ask questions and find resources.
