trouble with reading pasted data

When I paste a data  in the editor and try to run the data set it does not recognize the separations. I always do in 9.3 but at University I can't

You cannot "run" a dataset. A dataset is just data and can't do anything. Programs can be run.

So what are you actually doing? For illustration post the text you copy/pasted and describe what you did in detail in SAS Studio (the frontend you use with UE)

Re: trouble with reading pasted data

Hi, @adricano, In addition to what @KurtBremser said (and I sense there may be a language issue here), please note that there is a known problem with the SAS Studio editor and Google Chrome 55 and higher. A fix is being prepared for that issue. In the mean time, you might try using Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer to see if the problem is solved.

Thanks,

Re: trouble with reading pasted data

Hi, @adricano. Please, don't apologize for your English! :-)

You should be able to paste a program into the SAS Studio editor which ran successfully in your SAS 9.3. It may be the issue I mentioned with Chrome; what browser are you using?

@KurtBremser can comment if your code is problematic, but it looks okay to me.

(It would be helpful to post the output log to see what error you are getting.)

That code looks fine to me (hint: use the "little running man" icon to paste SAS code; it preserves the formatting), and it runs without problems when copy/pasted via EG (I don't have SAS Studio yet).

So you should post the log from that step after it fails; and if the code looks suspicious in your browser after pasting, post a screenshot of that.

And I'd really look into the browser issue mentioned by @RandyMullis
